Dr Baulieu, to whom is attributed the preparation of RU 486, himself admitted that this abortive pill was perfected with the support of the World Health Organization.¹ Moreover, the latter refers to this kind of preparation when it speaks of "postcoital contraception".

What's more, Dr Baulieu himself explained that one of the "justifications" for the program of research resulting in RU 486, was the "containing," that is, the restriction of the poor population of the Third World.
